Biskut Susu

This biskut susu is one of my favourite biscuit during Hari Raya. Nobody had made a very tasty biscuit than my grandmother. Her Biskut Susu is the best and almost "impossible" to make! Her's is so scrumptious it melts in your mouth..literally! I've tried making them several times but I just could't get the "melts in your mouth" part. I'm just baffled.

And each time I visit my grandma, I've always asked her how she made the biscuit. And each time is the same method...went back and tried..the results is not exactly the same. Though the taste is the same.....

Here's the recipe:

  • Tepung Jagung    - 1 cup
  • Tepung Sagu       - 1 cup
  • Tepung gandum   - 1/2 cup
  • Icing sugar           - 3/4 cup
  • Susu pekat           - 2 tablespoon
  • Egg yolk               - 1
  • Butter                   - 5 auns ( approximatelt 150gm)
  • Vanilla                  - 1 teaspoon
Method:
  1. Beat sugar and butter together until fluffy.
  2. Add the egg yolk and continue beating.
  3. Then add the condensed milk and vanilla.
  4. Lastly, add in the flours
  5. Mix all well... than roll will a rolling pin.
  6. trace with any shapes you like.
  7. Bake for ~10-12mins at about 175C
p/S: The batter is very sticky.. to avoid sticking to the rolling pin, place plastic on the batter before you roll. or you can use the pipping bag..easier!
