    Home Made playdough- Cooking version

Made these yesterday...It is a cooking version of home made playdough unlike the previous one which is need not to be cooked. Its is very easy to make.

    The ingredients are as follows:

    • Plain flour - 1 cup
    • Water - 3/4 cup
    • Salt - 1/2 cup
    • Cream of tartar - 2 tablespoon
    • Cooking oil - 1 tablespoon

    Method:

    1. Firstly, what you do is, add all the ingredients in the saucepan.
    2. Using a whisk stir the mixture until they are well mixed.
    3. Next, with low-medium heat stir the mixture until it thickens.
    4. Once the dough start gathering together around the spoon you know that it is ready.
    5. You can now spoon it out and divided into few smaller ball depending on how many colours you want to make.
    6. I like to add the colour after the dough is ready making it into smaller balls. You have to use your muscle to knead the dough after adding the colours of you choice.
    7. However, you can also add the colours during mixing all the ingredients together. It is much easier and less hassle.

I enjoy making these, and my DD also enjoy playing with them. You can store them in a zip lock bag and it would last quite some time. I've read in a blog, hers lasted for a year! So please try making them and let me know how it turned out.

    signing off,

    Homemade Chicken Nugget

It has been a while, I have been busy with the kids. Trying to came up with activities for them rather than letting them watch the TV all day.

Plus making and creating dishes for my picker eater DD. I've found this recipe here:
It is very easy to make, very tasty and healthier than the one you bought from the store since there is no additives and preservatives.

My daughter loves them. And now I dont buy chicken nuggets anymore...[^_^]

    I used chicken breast...

I does look like the store bought nuggets right?!

I hope you enjoy making them as much as I do and you create you own flavour by aadding your own preferable spices like for example:
    • paprika
    • all spice
    • cajun spice
    • 5 spice

    and lots more...
