Dah lama nak try buat donut kentang... just to utilize all the potatoes that I have in my kitchen.. hehe. I like to try recipes with potatoes. [^_^]
So, one fine day, thanks to Mr. Google I find this recipe...tadaaaaa!
So fluffy and lembut
With some icing sugar....
This is how you make them...
Ingredients:
- Plain flour -250gm
- Potato - 1
- sugar - 2 tablespoon
- salt - 1 teaspoon
- yeast - 1 teaspoon
- baking powder - 1 teaspoon
- egg - 1
- fresh milk
- butter -50gm (melted)
Method:
- Add the egg and fresh milk together so the mixture would be 190ml
- Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl
- Then add the melted butter.
- Next pour in the egg+milk mixture.
- After that knead the dough until it doesn't stick to your hand (about 10mins)
- Let it set and double in size ~ 45mins.
- Then divided into 8 pieces and make the doughnut shape.
- Deep fry ~ 2 mins on each side. Medium heat fire.
